Michael Darcy, RMT
After a career as a professional photographer, Michael decided to make a change. Incorporating his interest in anatomy and his talent for caregiving, Michael graduated from Toronto’s Sutherland Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2000. In addition to massage therapy, Michael trained in Somatotherapy with renowned osteopath Dr. Guy Voyer. Somatotherapy, an interactive, holistic body/mind manual therapy including integrated active and passive modalities, works beautifully with Swedish massage.
Michael has worked in integrative environments with physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and naturopaths. From 2006-2010 he was an on-site staff massage therapist at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children.
Michael is able to adapt his treatments to meet the needs of a wide range of clients, and encourages them to be actively involved in their own health.
Michael is an avid traveler, cyclist, swimmer and reader.
